I am passionate about taking care of this precious land so it will take care of us and our animals. I am a lifelong student of nutrition, natural systems, and the earth itself, which provides the exquisite, essential infrastructure for all life. It is my firm belief that in order to have healthy food, you must first begin with the earth from which it all comes.
I believe in responsibility and accountability to ourselves, each other and our community, and the earth which supports us all.

I am a chef, rancher, farmer, gardener, mentor, and teacher. Although not a true carpenter or builder, I am familiar and generally capable with construction/maintenance. I know how to use and properly care for tools.
I operated an organic sustainable goat, cattle, poultry , truck garden, and value added food product operation for 15 years
I have created and executed curriculum and recipes for workshops and cooking "from the ground up" classes, riparian restoration, goat care and preparation of products from goat milk, for 5 to 25 participants
I have owned and operated restaurants, catering services, soup kitchens, and personal chef services.
I have successfully recruited, interviewed, trained and evaluated skills and understanding for interns, students, and apprentices in holistic management practices, sustainable and regenerative agriculture organic gardening, and preparation of products for farmers market sales
I started 2 successful farmers markets, still currently operating
I founded and directed nonprofit: "Vital Roads" focused on rural community development, sustainable business, and mentoring of youth entrepreneurs
