Hi there!
My name is Sasha (nickname for Alexandra), and I’m at my happiest when I’m exploring new ideas, cultures, landscapes, and ways of life. I thrive on curiosity and learning—whether it’s through meeting new people, immersing myself in different environments, or picking up new skills along the way.
I'm a master’s student in environmental engineering and have a deep appreciation for sustainable living and love applying a holistic approach to problem-solving, whether that’s in nature, hands-on projects, or community settings. I love taking a break from the hustle and bustle of work and typical travelling, and really getting a sense of a place by staying still for a few weeks and contribute meaningfully to the people and places I visit.

I’m a quick learner and highly dedicated to completing any task I take on! I used to play tennis professionally and that has given me a great willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
I have experience coaching and tutoring kids and teenagers, which has helped me develop patience, communication skills, and the ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment. While I don't have any carpentry or gardening experience (besides my own vege garden at home!), I’m very eager to improve my hands-on skills, particularly in gardening and DIY projects, and am always happy to help out wherever needed.
Whether it’s working outdoors, assisting with household tasks, or sharing knowledge with others, I’m motivated, reliable, and excited to contribute!

In my downtime I always love playing any board games (catan!) or cards with anyone who is invested in a game, reading any kind of fiction that can take me somewhere else for a time, going on long walks or a jog, yoga, continuously learning how to improve my cooking and all the usual things to winddown.
