Description

Hello, I am Susanne, a German currently living in Malmö/South of Sweden. Lived in Zürich/Switzerland before. I love to explore new perspectives and ideas that inspire my life and way of thinking. Therefore, I enjoy traveling to unknown places and meeting people from different backgrounds a lot.

As a freelance user researcher for IT companies I spend a lot of time behind the monitor. By asking and listening to people I try to figure out their needs, and together we co-create solutions. Beside my business, I like to support meaningful & social eco projects. Deeply interested in self-development, I started a zen coaching training in 2021 with focus on authenticity, honest communication, and building deeper connections.

My first voluntary experience was 2010 in Estonia helping some days on a sheep farm with gardening, cooking, and bring back runaway sheep. In summer 2015 I joined an organic farm on the Acores and helped to set up a sustainable ecotourism environment (both via WWOOF).

I like to get my hands dirty in the outdoors and gardening, building and renovating with eco materials.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am experienced with gardening by growing my own fruits and vegetables from my own 1000m2 garden full of fruit trees including grapes. I love to get my hands dirty and paint or renovate using eco material such as clay and linseed based colors oil, and I am used to work with many tools - one of my best experiences was to build my own skin-on-frame sea kayak in a workshop.
Other skills are baking bread & cake, cooking veggie/vegan meals, sewing & knitting clothes, and I also fix my motorbikes and might repair a car if required ;-)
Managing projects, explaining complex things and knowledge transfer was my job for many years. I like to enable people and believe in live long learning. As a volunteer in refugees camps, I have been teaching German and helped people to sew their own clothes, bags, and pillows. In my daily job I encourage people to co-create and contribute by doing interviews, surveys, and running workshops.
