Hello future hosts
We are a german couple currently exploring New Zealand. We are both movement instructors, Tabea for martial arts, fitness and yoga, Erik teaches handbalancing, bouldering and functional movement.
We both had our good share of travels around Europe, Asia and Australia where we did different kind of work (e.g. gardening, farm work, au pair/child care, festival organisation/maintenance, and more)
We complement each other concerning our skills. Erik has a pretty good eye for detail, has experience working with (refugee) kids which he found a rewarding experience and finds creative solutions. Tabea is well structured, has experience in renovating and handling tools and is a quick learner. So whatever you need help with at least one of us is able to provide it while the other is supporting and assisting or doing other tasks.
Why Workaway?
We love being around people and exchanging stories and knowledge. Staying and working together is the best way to learn more about different cultures as well as other people. We like being inspired by others. On the other hand we also want to pass on our knowledge and stories to others and help working on their dream. So far we've only had great experiences staying and working with locals . We inted to continue like that in the future.
