I'm actually in Martinica, working on a sailboat (preparing it for the Pacific crossing), and I plan to travel by sailboat to the Canada

Description

Belgian traveling around the world, I love walking and looking at the sunrise.
I decided 5 years ago to change my traveling way and to stop taking the plane, since that I travelled mainly by train in Europe, and I crossed the Atlantic by boat from France to Guadeloupe.
My current project is to go to the north of Canada for the midnight sun on 21st June 2024

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Optimistic, proactive and solution-oriented, easy to get along with and likes to be of service.
I worked as a voluntee:
- In a farm in Belles (Dominica) in the middle of the jungle, taking care of the goats and cutting trees,
- On a sailboat in Martinica, preparing it (painting, varnishing,...) for a Pacific Crossing,
- In several hostels (Chile, Guadeloupe,...) taking care of the accomodation,
- I was instructor during 10 years in summer camp (cooking, caring of children,...),
- I am volunteer in festival organisation every year for 10 years (coordination, security, management, organisation,...)
- I am volunteer in a repair lab in Brussels for two years (speciality in micro electronic such as smartphones)
- I speak fluent English, French and Spanish
- I've just crossed the Atlantic by boat on a catamaran and I'm looking to travel by boat in the Carribbean as I don't take the plane anymore
- Before leaving my job, I was sales director in the fashion industry, managing more than 800 clients around the world

I love climbing, I'm also creative in term of children animation, as I have my summer camp leader certificate and as I was a scout boy for a long time.
