Dear Workaway Community,

we are three friends from Berlin, Germany, who have travelled together before and really enjoy spending time creating and building things as a group. We'll have some time off in february and would love to use it for a proper hands-on Workaway experience.

Back in Berlin Sophie works for a non-governmental organisation in the farm and food sector and is especially interested in agriculture and sustainability. She also speaks Spanish and is happy to help with translation if needed. Mats previously worked as a research consultant for the German government and is experienced with Workaway projects. Hannah is a structural engineer with additional training in skilled crafts and also has Workaway experience. We all speak English fluently.

Mats and Hannah particularly enjoy working with wood and are confident using common woodworking tools. All three of us are comfortable with physical work, reliable and enjoy working together as well as with others. We are open-minded, easy-going people who love connecting with others through doing and creating things together. We are curious by nature and enjoy learning new skills and gaining new perspectives. Movement is an important part of our everyday lives and we practice various sports such as climbing, surfing, biking, yoga and hiking.

We are especially interested in projects related to agriculture, sustainability, eco-building and woodworking and we are looking forward to contributing our skills, energy, and curiosity to a shared project.

Querida comunidad Workaway,

Somos tres amigos de Berlín, Alemania, que hemos viajado juntos anteriormente y disfrutamos mucho creando y construyendo cosas en grupo. Tendremos algo de tiempo libre en febrero y nos encantaría aprovecharlo para vivir una auténtica experiencia Workaway.

En Berlín, Sophie trabaja para una organización no gubernamental en el sector agrícola y alimentario y está especialmente interesada en la agricultura y la sostenibilidad. También habla español y está dispuesta a ayudar con la traducción si es necesario. Mats trabajó anteriormente como consultor de investigación para el gobierno alemán y tiene experiencia en proyectos de Workaway. Hannah es ingeniera estructural con formación adicional en artesanía y también tiene experiencia en Workaway. Todos hablamos inglés con fluidez.

A Mats y Hannah les gusta especialmente trabajar con madera y saben utilizar con soltura las herramientas comunes de carpintería. Los tres nos sentimos cómodos con el trabajo físico, somos fiables y disfrutamos trabajando juntos y con otras personas. Somos personas de mente abierta y afables a las que nos encanta relacionarnos con los demás haciendo y creando cosas juntos. Somos curiosos por naturaleza y disfrutamos aprendiendo nuevas habilidades y adquiriendo nuevas perspectivas. El movimiento es una parte importante de nuestra vida cotidiana y practicamos diversos deportes, como escalada, surf, ciclismo, yoga y caminar.

Nos interesan especialmente los proyectos relacionados con la agricultura, la sostenibilidad, la construcción ecológica y la carpintería, y estamos deseando aportar nuestras habilidades, energía y curiosidad.

We love working with our hands, whether it’s gardening, helping around the house, or doing general maintenance. Hannah and Mats are especially experienced in woodworking and skilled with tools. We don’t shy away from hard physical work and are happy to get our hands dirty.
Also we are comfortable working with animals, enjoy taking care of and love spending time with them.
