Hi! I'm Laura, 28, from Montreal, Québec. Nice to meet you!

I've worked in the arts and music industry for years, focusing on event production and festival management. Seeking a better work-life balance, I moved away from rock and roll and found myself drawn to fine dining. There, I developed a deep respect for organic, farm-to-table food and regenerative farming practices

Now, I'm setting out on a new adventure — moving abroad for a year to explore new horizons. I'll be in Portugal from May to June, and settling in the Netherlands from June 2025 onward.

I'm especially interested in exploring slow living, organic farming practices, and learning the art of winemaking or cooking with produce I’ve helped grow. I'm also happy to support daily life with a family, helping with meals, general household help, childcare, this kind of thing.

I’m open-minded and naturally curious. I love learning from others, exchanging stories and skills, and — as we say in French — je suis bon public (I love to laugh).

I’m easygoing, empathetic, and introspective, have a positive attitude. I’m always happy to get my hands dirty, pitch in wherever needed, and be part of something meaningful.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm handy with hand tools and have basic carpentry skills. I helped my friends build a music venue and helped with building the stage, drywalling, painting, etc. I also built an urban garden on my balcony with 8 varieties of vegetables, a ton of herbs, flowers for pollinators, and a composting system - if ever a family would like help in starting their own!

I am also trained as a sound engineer and oil painter. I have experience serving and bartending and I loooove to cook.
