Hello!
My name is Jenna, and I am a 21-year-old soon-to-be graduate from Penn State with an IT degree. I am so excited to connect with host families and fellow Workwayers around the world.

I am driven by a deep curiosity and passion for learning about different cultures and ways of life. As someone who loves to travel, ski, hike, and read, I find tons of joy in exploring new places and learning new skills. The main reason I want to take on this journey is to experience different cultures and to see what is beyond my hometown (Rochester, New York).
I grew up in a very small family, as an only child with little insight about other cultures. I have always been driven to travel the world, meet new people, and learn about new cultures and the way people in different countries live.

I find joy in just about anything I do, whether it's curling up on a rainy day and diving into my current book or getting lost in thought on a hike and exploring new places. I am very passionate about volunteering and giving back to the community in any way I can. I started volunteer work at a young age, bringing snacks and playing games with hospital patients and fostering cats and dogs, and throughout college, I have participated in Penn State's philanthropy THON all 4 years. Helping others and making a positive impact, no matter how small, brings me a great sense of fulfillment.

I look forward to my future journeys and can't wait to begin!
