Hello!
My name is Fernanda, and I am French-Mexican (originally from Mexico but I’ve spent almost half of my life living in France).
I have a cheerful personality — a little reserved at first, but once I feel comfortable, my curiosity and sense of humor quickly come through. I have worked for several years with NGOs in different countries, on a wide range of topics such as fair trade and support for small producers, economic integration of refugees, and the empowerment of women and children in emergency and conflict contexts.
At the moment, I am on a humanitarian mission in Chad with an NGO, which will come to an end in early April. Before moving on to my next humanitarian assignment, I would love to spend some time in Sicily, and especially in Palermo — a city that holds a very special place in my heart and where I always feel the need (and joy!) to come back for a while.

I love traveling, discovering new cultures, and learning languages (even if just a few words). One of my goals is to explore new places and learning more about the cultures and people who inhabit the places I visit, while also sharing some of what I have learned throughout my life.

All of this, along with many other topics, is what makes me happy!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love sharing knowledge. For a while, I conducted several workshops on entrepreneurship and job integration for refugees.
Before and during my university studies, I worked as an au pair and nanny with several families, where I gained valuable experience working with children. I always had very positive experiences during this time.
Although I still have a lot to learn about DIY and hands-on projects, I really enjoy working with my hands, and it’s something I’d like to develop further. I have participated in a few restoration projects for historical monuments, and every time I was taught something new, I would dedicate myself to it with great care. I am very detail-oriented in general, and I enjoy applying this quality to everything I do.
