Hi there!
I am a curious person so I love anything new: discovering new places, talking to new people, being surprised and in awe with the world around us.
I studied linguistics since this skill we humans have of speaking languages is what connects us all and it's so interesting to understand more about it. I specialised a bit in multilingualism and second language teaching and am still considering diving into that more as a potential career path. For now though, I spend most of my time either dancing, teaching dance classes or working in the office of a dance school :D.

I've solo traveled through Europe before, and I've been having a big itch to go travel again ever since, so I would love to combine some of my passions mentioned above with a new adventure that takes me a little further from my home in the Netherlands.

For example, I would love volunteering at a language school in Latin America, since I took high school and some university level Spanish classes and would love to take the practice up a notch by immersing myself in a Spanish speaking community.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a university Bachelor diploma in Linguistics. I took a minor in Dutch as a second language and I have some teaching experience, teaching Dutch. Those skills translate very well into other languages so I have no doubt I could teach English too. I took Spanish in high school as well as a semester in University. I would say my Spanish is about A2/B1 level at the moment and I'd love to improve it!

I am a dance teacher, teaching Salsa and Bachata classes here in the Netherlands. I've also been a manager at one of my dance schools, managing an administrative team as well as a bar team. Currently I work in the office of another smaller dance school, doing administration, marketing, some graphic design for social media, as well as event organization. Me and my two collegues recently organized a 2-day dancing event with over 400 participants, which was so fun to do!

I love to work in a team, trying our hardest together to make things run smoothly while having a lot of fun at the same time.

I also have a weird thing for organization and enjoy helping others out with it. Something like moving houses and having to reorganize all my stuff, gets me super excited. I've helped clean and organize my friends' car, my bosses desk, my brothers home..
