Les activités qui m'intéressent :

I'm from Spain and I came to Germany in October and will stay until August. While I am here, I would like to use my free days on vacations, national holiday and weekends to get to know other areas.

Description

Hello, my name is Deina and I was born in Galicia, in the north of Spain, an area full of nature. I studied fashion design in Madrid and Oporto. I am currently volunteering in Germany in a historic garden.
I decided to do this volunteering because I am considering a career change towards gardening and landscaping. And after having tried volunteering at a local level I was still thinking about one day doing one in another country related to my area of studies and linked to values that I consider of great importance in society such as culture, social inclusion, sustainability, education, humanities, science and critical thinking.

As I will initially be in Germany until August, I would like to enjoy the days off or vacations I have here to get to know other areas of Germany, the Netherlands and especially Italy. Continue learning from other cultures of their cuisine and language and deepen my learning in gardening, sustainability and art. That's why I decided to open the profile, to be able to connect with hosts from these areas or travelers who also go to these destinations and collaborate on projects that share some of these interests.
The areas that interest me most to exchange learning-help are gardening, help on farms, olive or wine plantations, sustainable projects, languages, photography, housework (cooking, cleaning).

I am a hard worker, curious to learn, respectful, understanding, calm and energetic, sometimes extroverted and sometimes introverted, with a sense of humor. I love cinema, art and architecture, photography,music, I like cooking and experimenting with recipes, learning languages, listening to people about their cultures, reading about different subjects.
What is non-negotiable for me are people with racist, xenophobic, sexist, homophobic comments and ideas or other type of discrimination. I consider myself a person with values that go against this and I respect people equally regardless of their origin, religion and sexual orientation, so to trust and establish a relationship with someone,human and ethical values are very important to me.

Otherwise I will be happy to help you, learn and get involved in what you need help with. I am not afraid of physical work, in my current volunteering I am outside most of the time and in quite cold weather, and I enjoy being in nature; being cooped up in a building I am realizing that it is not for me. And I put effort into what I do and ask questions to learn.
I would like, if possible, to make a video call with the host or buddy traveller to see how the first impression, the communication and to be able to talk about expectations, tasks and collaboration for both parties.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My work experience is as sales assistant in fashion, in restaurant and touris;, I worked in a restaurant-café of Brazilian and healthy food (waitress, cleaning, attending clients), in a rural house in my village (breakfast, laundry, preparing rooms, cleaning, attending clients) and I have volunteered in an organic plantation of aromatic plants, in an international theater festival in Galicia helping in practical and organizational tasks and in a gardening event-exhibition in Lisbon.

Some skills I know are cooking (traditional and vegetarian),due to living alone and learning with my mother that she's a cooker,basic furniture's restoration (painting and sanding furniture,windows), design, sewing-patterning and photography, things I also enjoy

I like walking in the nature, doing yoga, I like dogs, doing research about creative process of different artists, photography of abandoned houses/palaces/architecture, discovering vintage pieces (cameras, clothes, lamps...),learning about upcycling, interior design, I'm interested in gardening and try new recipes or experiment with spices.
