Hello!
My name is Alba, and I’m a 22-year-old from a town near Barcelona, Spain. I joined this platform because I’m eager to explore new places, immerse myself in different cultures, and grow through meaningful experiences. I consider myself an energetic and curious person with a strong desire to learn and connect with others.

For me traveling it’s about truly experiencing a country, its people, and its traditions. I love learning languages, discovering new perspectives, trying local foods and recipes, and taking in the beauty of different sceneries

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, often sharing home-cooked meals or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I have a deep appreciation for the outdoors and like to stay active through hiking and trying different sports. I also enjoy creative activities and exploring new ways to express myself.

I’m a responsible, organized, and adaptable person who enjoys helping with everyday tasks. I’m more than happy to lend a hand with cooking, cleaning, and household chores to make daily life a little easier.

I am currently working part-time as a hotel receptionist, which has been a valuable experience for me. This job has taught me to be efficient at problem-solving while remaining calm and resourceful in different situations. One of the aspects I enjoy most is interacting with people from all over the world—hearing their stories, learning about their cultures, and ensuring they feel welcomed. I’ve also had the opportunity to assist with organizing events, such as company meetings and reunions, where I managed schedules, ensured everything ran smoothly, and came up with quick solutions to any unexpected challenges. These experiences have helped me develop strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to be proactive and adapt to any situation.

Language learning is another big passion of mine. I find it incredibly rewarding to communicate in new languages and connect with people through their native tongue. My main languages are Catalan and Spanish, and I am fluent in English. Currently, I am learning French and exploring German, and I believe that immersion in a new country is the best way to improve.

I plan to return to university next year, but for the time being, I want to focus on learning through real-life experiences and personal growth. I’m eager to take on new challenges, embrace new ways of living, and contribute wherever I can.
