Oli is a very hard working and skilled person. He helped move many projects forward including electrical, woodworking and other skilled things. He also did the everything day stuff such as animal care, clearing snow etc with dedication and no complaints. Cheers, Oli!

It was my first workaway and I could not have wished for a better one. Tom and Lois made me feel very welcome. I have so many good memories about the time I spend with them and for sure will come back after my trip around Australia. They are very friendly and happy people!!

This was my first Workaway experience, staying at Daniel’s house for about three weeks. He was very friendly and kind. I stayed at his house and took care of everything while he was traveling. I took care of his cat Emma, the chickens, the garden, and cleaned the house. His home is very spacious and beautiful. The bedroom was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. So the kitchen was especially amazing. The neighbors are very kind, so I felt safe and comfortable while he was away. Shops are within walking distance, and the beach and hiking trails are also very close, so I could really enjoy nature. As Daniel is an artist, his house is filled with art, and every room is a pleasure to explore. Although we had only a little time together, we were happy to help him with cooking and to listen to his stories about art. It was also a wonderful experience for my daughter, and she was very happy. His home-cooked meals were excellent and very inspiring. I was grateful that I could cook meals in the nice kitchen for my daughter, as we met again here after a long time. I was also able to use his car, his bikcycle which made us stay even more enjoyable. Thank you very much for the wonderful time I spent with my daughter over the New Year holidays. Thank you for all your kindness, including the ride to the airport.

I just finished a great experience with Noemi where I stayed for just under a week. We both shared English/Spanish so I think it worked well. I spent my time sanding the exterior walls and applying plaster. Noemi showed me around Quilmes and I also really liked the area. It felt safe and there are a lot of shops and a nice park nearby. Noemi is extremely obliging and helpful and always willing to help. She introduced me to some of of her friends/family and it was nice to get a local experience. Overall, the communication was very clear and I have no complaints. I think the profile is extremely accurate and the description is exactly what you can expect. All the best in the future Noemi, Mariel and co:) P.s the dogs and tortoise are amazing!

pavel is a grat guy. his bright disposition and helpful attitude made surviving the great december ice age of 2025. he genuinely seemed to thrive in difficult environs and was able to tackle any task that came his way. he was responsible and hard working. it did end up finally snowing the day he left -- some might suggest he was "bad luck". but i would counter that it was coincidence (& bad timing perhaps!!)

Our experience at the school was fantastic! We taught exceptional students who were eager to learn. The work wasn't too complicated, and Sokear or the other teachers helped us with any problems. We felt very comfortable there. We had a fairly comfortable private room with a bed and mattress, and even a balcony and a bathroom. We had a wonderful time, sharing meals, beers, and laughter. Several times we had the opportunity to watch sunsets, go swimming, and learn more about life in Cambodia. This experience was superb and very enriching. We hope everyone has the chance to have discussions with Sokear about Cambodian life, art, and philosophy. Thank you so much for everything!

We had a wonderful week at Cole’s farm in Mamaku. She is a super host; very hospitable, generous and easy to get along with, not to mention being a great cook. We loved spending time with all her animals, especially her 3 adorable sheepdogs; Lily, Basil & Charlie. Cole is devoted to her animals and is therefore very clear and precise in her instructions for volunteers. We shared mealtimes together and enjoyed good conversations and lots of laughter. The accommodation provided for Workawayers is excellent and we were very comfortable. Our daily tasks included feeding the cows, chickens and ducks, watering and weeding the vegetable garden and some household chores. Would highly recommend this experience if you are looking for a peaceful countryside environment. Thanks so much Cole, we loved our week staying with you at the farm - will definitely come back if we return to New Zealand in the future.

We hosted Karolin & Adam in November & December. We loved having htem to stay, very friendly, social people and also extremely helpful. We even got them to farm-sit for us while we went away for a few days and they took the responsibility very seriously. Every job they did, they did very well. Thanks for your time - you are very welcome to visit us again any time you come back through Taranaki!

I stayed with this family for 4 days and had a really great experience. They live on a beautiful property and take excellent care of their Workaway helpers. The accommodation is very comfortable, with a private caravan, as well as a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, which gives a lot of independence. A big highlight was having access to a kayak to enjoy Lake Taupo. The location is ideal, very close to Tongariro National Park, making it perfect for hiking and outdoor activities. They are also close to the town of Taupo, which is a lovely place with several fun things to do. The meals were excellent — they cook very well. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with a welcoming family, and definitely one of my favorite Workaway experiences. I highly recommend this host.

Working with Tom brought so much warmth to all of us. From the first time we meet until the last day he showed respect and much apreciation for the work, the people, and the space around him. He has such an optimistic and loving way of being that spreads around and feels amazing. The doors will be always open to reconect again. Thank you so much. <3

This was my very first Workaway stay ever and I couldn't have hit it better. Yovanna and Alain are truly amazing people who welcomed me with open arms right from the start. I barely speak any Spanish and they are also just learning to speak English, but they were very patient with me and helped me a lot with improving my Spanish. The work was fine, with a siesta inbetween the work, and the weekends are off. Their were a lot of insects but I got used to them in no-time. I had no internet connection on my phone but some other people did, it depends on the provider I think. For me it was fine however, it was good to be isolated from "the world" for a change. Herve's home was my first workawayer! I feel so lucky to come here to meet Herve, and experienced a different way of life! He's a very generous and friendly person. He even hopes that workawayers can balance the work (he gave us ) and personal lives! I super highly recommend Herve.

Marc is a kind, generous, and mindful helper with a strong work ethic and a gentle, respectful nature. He applies himself fully to every task, often helping without being asked, and always with care and consistency. My home and daily life are genuinely better since he arrived, and he fitted in beautifully with my family and friends. If Marc applies to help with you, welcome him warmly, he is a real treasure.

Wir waren als Familie bei Mehdi und seiner liebenswerten Familie, um bei der Olivenernte zu helfen. Das war eine sehr spannende Erfahrung. Leider ist mein Französisch nicht gut genug, um wirkliche Gespräche zu führen, sodass wir uns nicht so gut verständigen konnten. Das war sehr schade, da es viel zu erzählen gegeben hätte. Da unsere Tochter ziemlich erkältet war, hatten wir uns entschlossen früher weiterzureisen. Nächstes Mal kommen wir aber gerne wieder.

Spent a few weeks working here back in August - and had a great experience ! I had some background in construction but learnt a lot here, building on the skills I already had and learning totally new things. There was a great buzz around the work environment, and a lovely sense of camaraderie. Made some wonderful memories here and will treasure my time spent both working on the project, and running around berlin in the summer:)

It was a wonderful Workaway experience at Laurent’s property. The daily work tasks were pleasant, well organized, and set in beautiful natural surroundings. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, making it easy to feel at home. Laurent is a very trustworthy, responsible, and respectful host, always attentive and fair. On top of that, he is an outstanding chef — every meal was a real pleasure. I truly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend this experience to other Workawayers

_Another great experience with house-sitting. Jana responded to our request on the platform very quickly, and we liked her previous experience with house-sitting. We arranged an online meeting, had a good conversation, and confirmed our cooperation. Jana arrived at the agreed time, and we had two days to go through all the responsibilities. We knew we could leave for our vacation with peace of mind._ _During her stay, we received daily video updates about our animals and everything important around our home. It was both entertaining and reassuring to know that the house was in good hands. At the same time, Jana was working on her own project – preparing for the filming of her own movie. We wish her the best of luck with that and sincerely thank her for everything._ _We can highly recommend Jana to anyone who needs someone to look after their home and take care of their animals._
