Descripción
I'm a musician and choral director, living in downtown Santa Cruz. I frequently host acoustic world music concerts in my home. I'm also developing a dance/music/arts venue in my neighborhood, under the auspices of a non-profit organization and the Zócalo Traditional Arts Guild.
In addition to other styles of music, i play Brazilian forró, and i am always happy to host Portuguese speakers for language practice. I speak a little French, too.

Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje
I have traveled extensively, and particularly like to meet foreign travelers and exchange stories and culture. There are often musical events (rehearsals, concerts, etc) at home or around the area.

Ayuda
There are always things to do around my yard & garden. Projects vary, but can include yard help, some gardening and weeding, food preserving, trim painting, etc. I can always find some task that fits your skills and limitations.

Alojamiento
I have a few beds available, both single and double, some in private rooms. I cook most days and can accommodate any dietary restrictions.

Algo más...
My home is a few blocks from the downtown Santa Cruz bus station, and a 15 minute walk to the ocean, boardwalk, pier, and beaches. There are many nice areas for walking, including a redwood grove, within a few miles.

The house is very warm and comfortable, located in a quiet and safe place area, very near to Santa Cruz's downtown (5' walking). You can walk to the water easily and go to the wharf and see the lions seals.
