Do you want to learn and experience ecological farming in a meditation center? Come join us as a volunteer this spring to help create and care for our veggie garden from April to June! (these 3 months are the minimum commitment)
Through the cultivation of food and communion with plants, we aim to cultivate a deeper connection to the earth, ourselves and existence.
We are a meditation centre running for 30 years. We are located on the greek island of Lesvos, in the valley of eresos. Since last year we have an ecological vegetable garden which supplies our kitchen. Over a thousand people visit our center in the season (May-October). We practise many techniques of meditation from different traditions (active meditations, sufism, vipassana, zen, traditional tantra) and welcome many therapists from around the world to teach workshops on a variety of healing modalities. We are an Osho meditation center and practice the active meditations everyday and regularly run the meditative therapies designed by Osho. We have been running a work as meditation programme for 20 years where people come to experience how it is to live and work in our community.

You will learn about ecological gardening as a spiritual practice. Here you can meet people from all over the world, everyone has something to teach. You can learn and experience alot about meditation and yourself here.

We need help creating and caring for the vegetable garden starting from the spring, under the guidance of our gardener, Shunya. The work involves a variety of tasks, from starting plants from seed in the greenhouse, planting, creating new garden beds, installing irrigation, harvesting, helping the kitchen prepare the veggies and much more!

3.5km from the beach and the local coastal town skala eresos, with shops, restaurants and cafes. Some nice walks around the valley and to some of the peaks where there are small churches, and beautiful panoramic views. There is also a nude beach.
