How does it feel... to be edging constant burnout over the realization that governments all over ~ seem to have been successfully infiltrated and compromised by the ill-organized yet always so-sharp-corporate-hijack, whilst our should-be human & civic rights are being dragged into forced-redundancy, abused, completely disregarded, or worse: purposefully dismantled in such ways that our present-time resembles more of a hostage to dictatorship situation, arrested by powers that outrageously & genocideadly ~ try-be-remain.
  
  8. Do you have an allergy to 'BS'?
  We definitely do.
  Not the real, good, compostable BS. NOnono. The metaphorical bs is what we have an allergy towards. The ill, fake, surface, silly lies, the unsorted garbage. The irresponsible yappin'. The noisy nothingness....
  
  9. Are you a complainer or a doer? We appreciate healthy complaints and we seek to address them immediately. We advise you do the same, as we really dislike unnecessary repetition; Acting on it immediately might appear as heavy effort, but wait until the same otherwise unresolved case repeats dozens of times - & you will finally have located the path of least effort - which is the path of action and responsibility: and not the one of wearing a victim hoodie - and parroting the same song whilst expecting different results through inaction or complete surrender to the universe.   HOW WAS THIS IDEA BORN?
  
  
  The facts, ideas, open-call and project presented in front of you, are all based on lived through and shared-experiences, extensive travel throughout the world, discussions with thousands of people, social-work, rehabilitation-work, plenty of volunteering, working in community/art/urban/rural/high-end as well as low-end jobs, cultural events management and organization, festivals, parties, retreats, spiritual practices, and a lot of areas of Life and its many opportunities : Of course, please do not take any of these words for granted: go and investigate for yourself, to check the vibe in your local scene or through your travels: by the way, as part of the Embassy, such material is super valuable to us, so please be welcome to share the results of your study/exploration with us <3
  
  This project is the practical-thesis of a long, hardship-filled journey of trial and 'error' ~ yet still beautifully spiced with Hope, insights, and a clear direction. Now, it is time to implement this practical thesis into the real world, beyond 1-1 encounters, especially because of the complex poly-crisis that goes on in its wild, disregarding and discarding chaotic swirl.
  
  
  BITS & PIECES REGARDING THE TITLE
  
  
  As the title hints, we are planting seeds for an international Embassy of Connection, and, in order to achieve such goal, we need literally ALL the help we can get from others, all the visibility we can get, all the presence we can manage, on all the platforms possible and to-be possible. Most of all, we need to rely on sustainability as a mother-root to everything we do and want to achieve, and build, step-by-step ~ the physical reality/experience we want to be part of, together with those others who are compatible with us and also want to belong and invest together with us - for the sake of our shared Life and shared future : if you are similarly inclined humanitarianly, environmentally and pro-Life: if you know people/groups/organizations, that carry already ~ or want to take such responsibility for Life - please tell them about the embassy of connection, and send them the link. We are easy to find, since there is no other Embassy of Connection that we are aware of, at this point.
  
  
  BUT WHY THIS PROJECT? WHAT IS THE POINT? IS THERE A POINT... ORRR More?
  
  
  We do not just plan on gifting a worthy, ethical and healthy legacy to the world, ~ but also be actively and responsibly involved in the refinment and guidance of that Legacy, throughout our lifetimes, (& beyond) ~ and provide protective nourishment for the environment and all its Living creatures whilst we increase the opportunity and access to study the understudied, to treat the untreated, to sew a seam for the torn cloth we are given, to "experiment with the possibility of the impossible", and gather to cocreate a sustainable and honorable, organic and harmonious way of Life, that flows in-tune with the coexistence-laws of our dear Planet, and moves forward in parallel with the current dystopic status-quo system - which we want to use only as a bottom of the list tool, and absolutely not continue to rely-upon, since dependency on the current mostrous-system can only continue to bring about further vulnerability and failure, often of the most violent kind, as history, old and recent, clearly shows, especially to those who dare to look in the eyes of the storm: those who practice zooming out and marvel beyond the local picture, into the global one! Only then, can the puzzle make sense. Only then, we can finally shake our heavy loads off and realize we are not just loaded, but swamped. Only then, can we bring about the mechanisms required to deal with this swampy environment, and deal with it adequately. Only then, once we start the humanitarian, open-source, documented, verified, management work ~ can we finally discontinue the greatest dystopia that Humanity ever had in front of it, to such brutal extent. Only then, can we discontinue the coping, the escaping, the isolation, the division, the violence, the wars, the power-abuse, the involution, the evolutional arrest, the hijacking of Life from the Living, the hijacking of History from the dead and currently suffering.

  OK, but what are these Embassies of Connection, after-all?
  
  
  ~ In a nutshell, Embassy of Connection is to be an established, foundational non-profit-global-network of international 'embassies' that operate transparently, open-source, ethically and sustainably, at every level of the planetary environment, and who knows, maybe even beyond;
  ~ The resulting 'embassies' are safe & sustainable DIO (do it ourselves) places ~ that are dedicated to Well-being, to each-other, our children, our ancestors, all those who suffer/ed and perish/ed because of the brutally-insane race for progress and profit, but especially, towards our dear Home, and what is left of it, already in an absolute dramatic state: the very Planet we inhabit.
  ~ This project seeks and carries Connection and Responsibility: This project is in itself many things, including an open call to environmentalists, artists, humanitarianists, scientists, pioneers, students, seekers of Truth, Justice, Purpose, Meaning, other groups and humanitarian/ethical organizations - that are all united by the common drive towards sustainable Well-being;
  ~ The Embassies of Connection are also supposed to provide actual physical-spaces where humane aid, genuine connection and routing and access are all facilitated towards all Life-related elements: workshops, common halls, gardens, cocreative areas, rehabilitation programs, educational/training programs, journalism, aid, healthcare, and so on towards all that is needed for the treatment of our wounds and the Planet's wounds, which are also a point of collective Responsibility. Basically, this movement is a re-grassroot of the whole thing, but with proper settings. If our current reality is installed on an anti-humanitarian/anti-planetarian Operating System - then it is obvious that we just need proper settings, management, involvement, transparency and care.
  
  
  Important distinctions BEFORE YOU CONSIDER APPLYING:

  - We are a not for-profit humanitarian/environmentalist collective;
  - All activities are voluntary ~ no one is paid: at least not at this early stage of development -anyway;
  - We practice and maintain transparency, open communication, active listening & non-violence;
  - We aim to reduce pollution caused by tourism & entertainment & consumer behavior by exercising sustainability, community, conscious living & connection:
  - WE PREFER people who choose consciously to practice moderation, and not simply indulge in the overdoing of it.
  
  
  ~ (Y)Our project is not easy, nor convenient, nor comfortable, nor falsely advertised or marketed. It is what it is and what we make of it, together.
  
  ~ We are not going with the flow here. We are/cocreate the flow.
  
  ~ (Y)Our project does not and will not, ever - even think - about relying on the current (serial-criminal) system, on dependency, on capitalism's unsustainable printed banknotes, on internet and on every/anything that erodes Nature, Humanity and ethical Sense: on anything that is not meant for sustainable, public, ethical management & access.
  
  ~ If you saw (a spanish TV-series), 'Casa del papel', imagine what happens when we actually live inside the 'casa del papel' ourselves: and not by choice: we were born inside an already compromised house that is not at all 'fireproof'... since its walls and foundation alike, are made of paper. Not only this, the implications of this house we are born-in, are altered artificially with a business-agenda in mind, that disregards not just us, the supporters of this ill-business, but everything that has ever lived, lives and will come into being. How many species will we drive extinct before we take a step back to analyze and then take proper actions to treat the wounds we caused already? We are already working on it, and we hope you will join us according to your availability, no matter where in the world you are helping from!
  
  ~ (Y)Our project is yours too, whether you recognize it or not, since it has a humanitarian/well being/environmental/coexistence character: if you do not feel called towards this direction, if you can not embrace it and your feeling towards it has more of a casual/ disengaged nature ~ then we probably can't really do much together : : so please, contemplate on this aspect BEFORE you consider applying;
  
  ~ (Y)Our project constantly evolves by being shaped TOGETHER, collectively, remotely as well as in person: this creates a far&wide opportunity to engage with it and bring it ' wholistically' ~ from concept into tangible reality ~ one Embassy of Connection at a time!
  
  ~ Such spaces are essential everywhere, not just isolated in the vulnerability of a one-location and one-team! If you recognize the necessity too - then perhaps you will fit perfectly in our team, whether its from a remote or in-person standpoint, until later on when space/time/resources allows for more opportunities/relocation/or perhaps an Embassy of Connection close to your location is created!
  
  
  WHO AND HOW WILL THE EMBASSY OF CONNECTION BE ENABLED RESILIENTLY FOREVER?
  
  
  ~ The resulting Embassies for Connection - are and shall be supported by all those who recognize the necessity for connection, diversity, human rights, arts, ethics, non-violence, creativity, cooperation, Truth, justice, and all the good-quality stuff you can think of - or basically, the stuff you already might experience a severe lack of, pretty much no matter where you read this from.
  
  ~ We shall set-up sustainable income streams, food generation, harvest-migration routes, exchange networks, communication platforms, health-centers, sustainable logistics, crowdfunding, donation platforms and boxes, street performances, and who knows, even a new 'internet' called 'throughNet', so that we can finally apply an open-source / Ubuntu / I am because We Are philosophy - at large - and not just when we are allowed - or granted with permission and space to even study or think about such concepts.
  
  ~ You too are welcome & can join together with us in shaping this grassroots movement ~ far, wide and beyond ~ by getting involved with the many roles and support methods awaiting to be picked up - OR - new roles, created together with you, based on your unique skillset and particular interest (as long as aligned) - as we love to promote and create around what we are all individually passionate about - but done in balanced way, so that we don't end up in avoidance towards the necessary, less-pleasurable tasks/responsibilities!
  
  ~ This project is NOT at all a PERSONAL one: you will not come here to help someone with "their" project: NO, this project is a humanitarian one. This project is yours too - only once you recognize and will it to be, therefore you are welcome to study, learn, understand it, toss it around on all sides, and then, and only if it makes genuine sense - join in uplifting it through your unique talent, skills, abilities, perspective as long as they are aligned with the sustainable philosophy of the project and consensus has been reached altogether; You might be able to help though, also, if you are a Natural happy-helper that is simply willing to learn by doing. We need you too. In fact we need everyone who is willing to help ! ! ! <3
  
  
  DIRECTION
  
  
  We're dedicated to both recover and discontinue the hijack made possible through the shiny incentives of capitalism, which is, unfortunately, for a great number of people - still quite the dictatorial, violent Monogod that not just blocks, but also removes the access to human rights, a quality life, healthcare, common sense and everything in-between. Let's remind ourselves that money is a construct agreement printed by entities that have no interest in our well-being, but quite the opposite, in fact.
  The not funny, yet kind of funny part, is that nowadays it has become so brutally obvious, this grand scheme we are being forced into validating, that, not only made so many people finally realize and confirm, what often they kind of knew for their lifetime-long life already - but maybe even finally, for once, smile or laugh at the confirmation that yes: the world is f*d...
  
  I guess some peace of mind, at last, as the confirmation that a lifetime of paranoia or who knows how this is called... maybe conspiranoia - finally comes out... Kind of a necessary first step relief, for now.
  
  Perhaps the next step, if you too art ready to create and contribute in shaping the reality and environments we want to belong with... - is picking up roles and activities that are deeply grounded and genuine, so for sure - different, of course, from the parallel banknote-system that forces everyone to act, rather than be - hence never cared about promoting functionality, justice, fairness, peace, opportunity etc - despite claiming to do so...
  
  
  HORIZON
  
  
  The way forward is providing healthy examples, viable anchor points for continuity, reaching and bridging for each other through genuine and perhaps often-challenging ways ~ through co-creation, discussion, feedback, exercise, nonviolence, permaculture, art, craft, honesty and contributions in matters that require collective drive, maintenance, critical mindset, leadership and involvement.
  
  These anchor points - stewarding hubs ~ shall be the embassies of connection where intentional, cooperative people will gather to care, share, and organize sustainable gatherings, activities, workshops, festivals, gardens, studio-spaces (&more), that celebrate time invested rather than time spent: setting this up as a non-profit creative sanctuary that sustains itself through the contributions and harvests that we all bring about ~ together: for each other, locally and globally.

  We're seeking to connect (even remotely) with pioneers, supporters, artists & kind souls that find joy in contributing, care-sharing, team building and initiative taking: people that intend on maintaining a collective shareholding of leadership rather than hierarchical, exclusive dynamics; people that practice thinking in terms of WE ~ and not just 'I' and "me".
  
  
  What to expect?
  
  
  - We are a not for-profit collective;
  - All activities are voluntary—no one is paid: at least not at this early stage of development -anyway;

  We recently started hosting a PODCAST/interview series called 'conversessions' - and we would love to continue meeting each other, through this medium, as it can provide diverse Q&A / info regarding the project, to others that might otherwise ask the same questions. This could be an opportunity for the ones who are not shy to speak up/record/film/talk.
  
  There is much to do, inspiration to be sparked, compassion to be shared, interviews to record, documentaries to film, sustainable actions to be taken: and we invite all of you longing for healthy environments in which Nature is nurtured and honored - to reach over to us so we can join in action!
  
  
  We choose intentional over passive-passenger visits, therefore, we aspire to inspire a sense of action and responsibility all-around, in those who align with our vision ~ as well as beyond.

  Attention deficit disorder, inability to focus, inability to read a long text, inability to care, and sometimes even the inability to understand or have time to do any of the things they wanted to do. On top of that, the scrolling virus, the ghosting, the ignorant, empty messages that defy all the written description.

  We have experience with alternative traveling, volunteering, hosting activities. We also have a thirst for refinement and optimization ~ therefore, we intend to accommodate pleasant experiences and engage in fulfilling feedback ✨ together with our intentional guests.
  
  
  
  FOOD
  ! Sometimes, we will share food & snacks BUT, we can NOT pledge a passive, full food coverage, unless we bring it around together ~ for example, via contributions we generate through our collaborative or individual activities ~ that will be used accordingly: to feed ourselves, to distribute some pocket money and also to fund our maintenance and further building adventures!
  
  For example, we managed to feed ourselves by playing music in the street, upcycling used stuff via our garage 'sales', picking up leftovers from bakeries/restaurants, picking up vegs and fruits at the local market for next to nothing at closing hours, etc - so YES, when there is care and joy to share, things become possible!
  
  The CAN-DO mentality is something we can definitely remember, once basic ethics are present and we practice togetherness truly, and, beyond individualism!
  
  
  TIME / HOURS
  
  What we ask for, is about 16 hours of assistance per week:
  
  In exchange, we will accommodate you and provide opportunities for abundance-generation, as well as welcome your initiatives but also support and encourage them with all we can!
  
  Although there is no regular schedule, we welcome adaptation, we communicate the tasks to do in advance & we flow with it through constant feedback, as we want you to feel included & part of the team, the space, the vibe, and the hopeful present and future we are in / headed towards 🙏

  - Shared room, possibility to organize the space & create more options
  - We can welcome and accommodate a maximum of 3 guests at the moment; (unless you have a tent or are an easy sleeper and don't mind finding an alternative arrangement);
  - Our place is definitely not luxurious, but rather - cozy, magical & improvisational;

  - since this is a particular project with a reduced number of pdays/hours expected, food will NOT be provided and must not be relied upon - access to kitchen and cooker is available. We will of course share food & cook together occasionally - but we just can't pledge full coverage. We do not use/cook meat in the house - as we're mostly vegan with a pinch of vegetarianism.
  
  Since we're not a business & our cultural mission is based on voluntary, intentional approach, (we are also volunteers) - it would be hard to support food expenses for our visitors entirely & that is why we chose to create a fair exchange, in which everyone has more time, space TO BE and inspiration to create!
  We really hope you understand and appreciate the food arrangement as is. Of course, through our contribution based activities we shall generate resources and enable ourselves to sustain the basics for food and maybe even beyond - are you ready to involve yourself in such generative ways?

  there are some bakeries and local markets who often giveaway food/fruits/veggies at the end of their working day - so it shouldn't be very difficult to make something of that 👀

  BEFORE YOU APPLY
  When possible, please try to contact us at least a week in advance - as we need to prepare + make sure we are on the same page before you arrive: we got a template questionnaire we forward to our inquiries that contains topics relevant to our decision making.
  
  
  LONGER STAYS
  We need you to acknowledge, understand & agree that we can not remotely commit to long-term hosting ~ immediately, via the internet, therefore, a one-to seven days TRIAL period is REQUIRED to assess compatibility in person. We're open to discuss specifics, logistics, as well as offer insight & support before your visit; otherwise, please adjust your plans accordingly & be prepared in case a long term extension beyond the initial trial period - is not possible. We do NOT promote this kind of volunteering tourism.
  
  
  How we deal with your requests and what to expect after your initial message-request:
  - a questionnaire will be forwarded to you for compatibility check;
  - if we recognize alignment, we'll invite you on a video/audio call in which we'll go over details, feel into it and follow up on previous questions/clarify/open up the conversation & reach an agreement.
  
  
  
  ARRIVAL.
  On the day of your arrival, you'll have time to settle in.
  Your volunteering/contributive journey begins the following day - or will be communicated together with you -as sometimes we're too busy to start immediately and might need a couple days to arrange things!
  
  YOUR FREE DAYS
  - stay and do your own thing with respect to the other things happening at the place - we would kindly ask you to keep cleaning after yourself or have involvement in the common areas you're using - basically don't just be a passenger;
  - explore the surroundings, go for trips? - there are nice, un/popular beaches, gorges, caves, and many other things happening. Get your tent or hammock and go wild! Just be safe and come back to share the good stories!
  - join others co-creative processes, host yours!
  
  We can always adjust & discuss your contribution in order to meet each other's needs and reach consensus. For example, let's say that you want to do your weekly hours in 2-3 days and havethe rest off: totally possible ✨
