Description

I come from the idyllic seaside resort of Brighton and grew up navigating the surrounding hills.

After a brief stint at English at uni I dropped out and became an elderly care assistant during the covid-19 pandemic.

My main source of happiness comes from everything outdoorsy from hiking mountains to swimming to cycle touring to camping. I even once cycled across the alps by myself for UNICEF.

When I'm by myself I like to sit out in the sun, read a book, do some handstands, listen to music or play the melodica.

What motivates me is to build a greater understanding of my surroundings from cuisine to culture to wildlife and ecosystems. To learn at least one thing from every person I meet from Scunthorpe to Manila.

At the end of the day, I would like to see life affirming things and I would like to do life affirming things with life affirming people.

I have worked as a gardener, landscaper, manual laborer, carer, customer service, bartender, kitchen porter, and delivery courier.

I briefly studied English at university and have practiced English language teaching techniques. I enjoy the act of writing for myself and others and the creative spirit that follows it.

I am a fan of cooking up the odd meal here and there.
