Hola a todos!
Me llamo Zack. Soy estadounidense y acabo de terminar un gran viaje por muchos países de Asia y Europa (¡y también un país en África, jaja!). Tuve muchísimas experiencias increíbles, raras, sorprendentes y locas, y puedo contarte muchas historias de ese tiempo si te interesa.
Usualmente trabajo en restaurantes, y algún día mi sueño es tener mi propio restaurante. Soy un chef muy creativo y mis viajes me influyen bastante. Viajo por aventura, pero también para inspirarme y aprender de las gastronomías de diferentes regiones, y por supuesto para conocer sus culturas.
Soy una persona bastante relajada; me llevo bien con niños, animales y plantas. Me encanta vivir tanto en ciudades grandes como en lugares muy naturales y rústicos. Nunca sé qué voy a aprender, pero para mí la alegría está en lo desconocido.
He tenido muy buenas experiencias con Workaway y estoy emocionado por continuar con ellas en México. Todavía estoy aprendiendo español, pero mi reto para este viaje es hablar solo español y, con suerte, regresar a Los Ángeles siendo un hablante seguro.

I have a lot of cooking experience and would love to cook meals for the group, as long as I can learn about the traditional food of each country:) I have more limited experience with farming/gardening but I am very strong and active and would be good at doing manual labor outdoors. I am also generally good at working with people because I am very sociable.

I make short-form food video content (TikTok, instagram reels, etc.) where I cook and talk about my life, and I plan to continue doing that while I'm traveling so that I can share local dishes with the world! Additionally, I am going to write down all of the recipes that I learn so I can eventually write a cookbook about my travels. Because of that, having a host that appreciates food and knows how to cook is very important to me so I can learn about the local cuisine:)
