Hi I'm Vy !
I find joy in learning new crafts (I'm currently delving into ceramics, crocheting, and playing the acoustic guitar), being in nature, and connecting with new people. I currently teach math to teenagers and have a degree in chemistry, and I have a huge fascination with the stars and would love to share knowledge about anything science/space.
I'm from California in the US, and I feel the most myself when I'm near water !
My most memorable trip recently was experiencing two volcanoes erupt in Sicily, and I just want to continue feeling that kind of aliveness in new places and share those meaningful experiences with people :)

I speak fluent American English, and I can understand Spanish and am practicing speaking more. My family is Greek and I've been listening to a podcast to learn the language with my grandmother who wanted to practice with me. I also know a little about the Korean language, and I'm really curious about any language and how they're connected to each other !

I love solving problems big or small and understanding the way things work ! I'm a quick and curious learner and enjoy tactile tasks like cleaning, physical art, tending to plants, and any outdoor project.
I grew up around dogs and horses and it makes me so happy to be with and care for beings of any species :)
I'm learning to let go of perfection through ceramics since things don't always go the way I hope and appreciate the beautiful surprises that can come out in trusting the process. I've also been teaching math to teenagers, and I'm practicing giving the kindness I give to them to myself in my own learning moments.

I'm a dancer (modern, hip hop, etc.) and I dance in little ways every day. I listen to many types of music and love learning instruments even though I have little experience. I love playing card games, and I'm a big fan of food and experimenting with flavor combinations and especially cooking with fresh ingredients.
