Description
Hello!
My name is Kyungsim, but you can call me Tacota. I'm 27 years old, and from South Korea.
To introduce me, I'm a climate activist, vegan, and ecologist. I'm also interested in permaculture, and animal rights. In Korea, I used to work for a organization against climate crisis called Extinction Rebellion, and I also completed the EDE (Eco village Design Education) course. I'm also pretty into the free-diving and scuba diving.
I live in a little village where surrounded by mountains. I live with my friends there, we try to live ecologically and close to nature. I also taught gardening in elementary school for a year.
I think I'm a person who lives a life flowing like river, but now I want to create the watercourse way where the river flows by myself. I want to get to know myself better and build my own worldview. That's why I'm traveling. I'd like to meet people from all over the world, and share our culture, value life, experience, and know different stories and different ways in life.
I'm open-minded, passionate and diligent. I love to try new things. When I was 20, I ran a restaurant with friends and worked in the kitchen. I still enjoy trying out new recipes. At 21, during an 8-month trip to Europe, I spent most of my time volunteering through workaway in B&B, hostel, restaurant, and dog shelter. The experiences from that time continue to be a valuable asset for me.
In 2023, I traveled alone to Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand for 8 months. During the trip, I met many people and gained numerous experiences. However, I also went through physically and mentally challenging times. After returning to Korea, I've been taking care of both my body and mind for the past 3 months. I plan to start a new journey in January, aiming to engage in consistent spiritual practices and seek various spiritual experiences during this trip.
I'm going to leave for Sri Lanka in January!Interests
