My name is Vega Christi, I’m 32 years old, and originally from Indonesia. I’ve been working and travelling around the world since I was 17, it’s been an incredible journey living in Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, and Australia. 🌏
I’m now visiting Canada to experience this beautiful country, learn about its culture, and meet kind-hearted people while giving back through Workaway. I’m travelling solo on this journey, my husband is currently working in Slovakia, and I’m using this time to volunteer, help families, and connect with new people around the world.
I previously worked as a Caregiver at Nurse Next Door Home Care Services in Melbourne, Australia, supporting elderly and disabled clients with personal care, companionship, and household tasks. Caring for others has become my passion — I love bringing warmth, respect, and happiness into someone’s day.
I also used to be a preschool teacher at an international school in Indonesia, so I’m great with children and enjoy creative activities, story time, and outdoor play.
At home, I’m an organizer at heart — I love keeping spaces clean and cozy 🧺, cooking simple meals 🍳, and learning new recipes from YouTube or from my hosts! I’m always eager to help, learn new skills, and make life a little easier for the people I stay with.
Since I have plenty of time to travel and volunteer, I hope to share my experience and kindness with people here in Canada while learning from them too.

To Summarize, this season of my life will be a moment of sharing, exchanging culture and helping one another in times of need since I love to use my time wisely, as long as I can help you on the weekdays, from Monday to Friday. On the weekends, I want to spend time alone, either study English inside my bedroom or explore the nearby neighbourhood and its surrounding city.
