Description
Hello. My name is Julie, and I'm from London. I lived in Japan from July 2022 until November 2023. I've recently been to Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. I'm now in California, San Francisco. I support my travels as a happy Workawayer and online English teacher, viva the digital nomad life. My passion is travelling and experiencing as much of this wonderful world as possible. I've previously lived overseas in New York, Israel, Nepal, and, as a child, Australia. Before relocating to Japan in 2022, I travelled through the Catalonian region for three fantastic months. I find inspiration by sharing life stories and travelling experiences. I'm interested in ancient history and philosophy, and I enjoy writing short stories, usually futuristic themes and Steampunk. My mission is to have a positive impact and contribute some value. It's all about sharing the knowledge and helping each other.

I worked in the UK social sector for many years; it was challenging, eventful, and totally worth it. I have previously volunteered at a Kibbutz in the Southern Negev desert, a charity school in Nepal, and Buddhist communities in fabulous Scotland and England. I have mentored Japanese students, studied basic counselling skills, have some IT knowledge, and I am an experienced English teacher. I strive to lead a mindful and enjoyable life.
