Description
Hi, my name is Thierry Lefebvre (it’s a very French name), I’m 26 and I’m from Sherbrooke Québec Canada. I work as a primary school music teacher during the year. I had amazing travelling plans for 2019 and 2020, but I got cut short by the pandemic and I'm looking for more!

My plans now are to go back to travelling full time by the summer of 2022-2023 when most travelling restrictions will stop. (Fingers crossed).

So far, I have done a lot of different workaways. Most of them were in hostels (Portugal, Slovakia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Georgia). I've done most of tasks you could do in hostels including: laundry, night shift, making breakfast, organising events, cleaning, reception work and check-ins.

I also volunteered in a horse farm and a dog shelter where I worked with animals, a train station where I did a lot of manuel maintenance work and two private houses where I did gardening and general maintenance.

I play the drums since I’m 9, I can handle myself pretty well on the piano and I know the basic of a lot of instrument (I have a bachelor in music teaching).

I stayed 5 weeks in Pucon and I had a blast. It is an amazing place with so many things you can do around. I got to do so many things that I never tought I would be doing: water rafting, canyoning, skydiving; it was awesome.

Jam's train station is such a cool place to explore and to work in. There is a lot of thing to do and Jam makes sure that you are doing something you actualy care about or are good at. He also really knows the place and the surrondings. I had an amazing 2 weeks and recomand the experience. Thank you for everything Jam!

Staying at this hostel in Sofia was an amazing experience. It's a very special place and is an amazing social hostel. If you want to, it's easy to just join a table and talk to the guests, the other volonteers and play A LOT of chess. The job is easy and it was clear for me, the staff is friendly and welcoming.

I spent 25 days in the hostel and had a blast! The people were very helpful and made sure you understood the job as soon as you started. And it was a great job! I got to meet a lot of people, improve my foosball and go out and discover the night scene in Bratislava. I would recommend it to all the social people I know!

I love my stay with Su and Wolfgang! I was there for only two weeks and the time past by super fast. There is a lot of various things to do, to see around on a bike and to learn with all the people coming to the house. The dog and the cat are super nice and social. Thank you for everything!

Thierry is such a nice guy! We learned a lot of interesting things about Canada and the French language. And he survived our singing rehearsal! Also he was a great help in the garden and the house. I spent 3 weeks with Anika and her family and it was awesome! It's a lot of work, but at the same time it's so interesting and rewarding.
