Hello! I’m Tetyana, originally from Ukraine, and a lifelong explorer at heart.
I left home at 15, and that early journey sparked in me a deep love for travel, meeting people from all walks of life, and embracing different cultures with an open heart and mind.

I've spent most of my professional life working with international NGOs, driven by the belief that we can make a meaningful difference in the world—something I carry with me in everything I do. Much of my work has focused on supporting small-scale farmers and promoting sustainable agriculture in low-income countries. While it’s deeply meaningful work, I’ve often felt removed from the tangible, day-to-day reality of it—and now feels like the right time to get my hands dirty :)

I’m looking for a new adventure and personal challenge -- a chance to ground myself, clear my mind, and learn new skills by working closely with plants, animals, and the land. I have enjoyed gardening ever since I was little helping on my family small plot ('dacha') in Ukraine and I really miss it.

I'm physically active and practice yoga daily - and recently I became a certified yoga teacher! I also enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, reading, watching independent films, and would love to learn play guitar or some other instrument.

I don’t know exactly where this path will lead, but I hope I gain new skills and meet more like-minded people. The connections we make are precious—perhaps the most important thing we have.

- Research & Problem Solving: As a researcher working with NGOs, I’ve developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I can think critically, adapt to different situations, and help with planning, organizing, analyzing data, or approaching problems creatively.

- Animal Care & Handling: While I may not have formal experience working on a farm, I’ve spent time pet-sitting for friends and, most importantly, I simply love animals! I’m comfortable working with a variety of animals (including dogs, cats, chickens, and goats) and am always eager to learn more about ethical and sustainable animal care practices.

- Sustainability Practices: I have a strong personal interest in protecting the environment and minimizing our negative impact on it. I’ve been helping in my family's garden (dacha) since I was little—although back then I was less enthusiastic! More recently, I’ve enjoyed gardening and growing my own herbs and vegetables in a small urban space. I’m excited to expand this knowledge in a hands-on farm environment and contribute to eco-friendly practices.

- Teamwork & Communication: I’m a team player, and I enjoy collaborating with others. I communicate effectively and I work to minimize conflict and foster harmony. I believe in creating positive, supportive work environments where everyone feels valued and motivated.

- Certified Yoga Teacher: As a certified yoga teacher (though fairly new to teaching), I can guide others in yoga sessions. Yoga is a great way to reduce stress, improve overall well-being, and enhance the connection between mind and body—skills I’m excited to share with others, and I’m happy to teach group or individual sessions.

- Adaptability & Willingness to Learn: I am adaptable, resourceful, and always excited to learn new skills. I’m not afraid to step outside my comfort zone and take on new challenges. I believe hands-on experience is the best way to learn, and I’m eager to immerse myself in something new
