Hi! We are Rie and Christian! 😊

We both are true enjoyers of life, and if you ask our friends, they would say that we are "yes people", fun, happy, adventurous, active, open-minded, generous, honest, and in general, have a truly contagious energy that spreads to people around us where ever we go.

Rie is born and raised in Denmark and has been a full-time traveller since the age of 17, visiting over around 50 countries and living between 4-18 months in 8 of them. She is a true lover of going on spontaneous adventures around the world, not knowing where she will be the next day, exploring the beauties that the world has to offer, while sharing great experiences with amazing people that she meets on the way. And most importantly, avoiding the regular grind of living in the same place and working 9-to-5 😆

Christian is born and raised in Brazil, where he lived until the age of 13, whereafter he moved to Denmark. While visiting around 45 countries, the last decade has primarily consisted of taking a master's degree in business and IT, working as an IT consultant at Deloitte, and building a startup from scratch, Mindpool, which focuses in harnessing the collective intelligence of people. In the recent months, he has taken his work with him online, where he works for a few hours every day, while exploring the world with Rie.

During the last 13 years of travelling full time, Rie has had all imaginable jobs, which have given her a broad portfolio of skills. A few of her experiences and skills include:
- She took a Yoga teacher training course in India, and have over 1 year of experience as a yoga teacher
- As the extroverted and people-person that she is, she was a tour guide and social host in Turkey and at LaPoint surf camp in Portugal
- She has volunteered in a bird sanctuary (Kiwi Bird Park, Queenstown, New Zealand)
- She was a hotel manager, administrating properties in Booking.com and AirBNB.com
- She has a degree as a social and health worker with over 5 years of experience helping elderly and people in need
- She had many jobs within retail
- She has been a sales person within real estate
- She's had waitress and bartender jobs
- She has made jewellery for a few years
- Helped demolish and rebuild a house for her brother

With a business and IT background, many of Christian's skills and experiences relate to technology:
- Doing photography and videography including drone footage (I am bringing an FPV drone, gimbal stabiliser, and good camera)
- Building websites incl. SEO
- Online marketing in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
- Data science work (dashboards, etc)
- In the past, he has also worked as a waiter, in retail, washing dishes, being a pizza delivery guy, driving with newspaper, etc. He also has good basic handyman skills and is a very quick learner!

What else ...

The meaning of life is to enjoy what life has to offer and give back at least as much as it gives! Life is a playground, and we will forever be kids! We believe that everyone needs to give peace a chance!

Some of our interests include:
Rock climbing, surf, running (half-marathon, marathon), playing instruments (ukulele, guitar), going to festivals, culture, technology, electronics, traveling, hiking (we walked El Camino de Santiago, 900 km), scuba diving, extreme sports (bungee jumping, skydiving, skiing), sports in general, warm weather, beaches.
