Hi there,
We are a couple from Hungary, Julia (27) and Mate (34). We met because our dogs were friends, so we are both dog lovers. We both love outdoor activities and travelling. We run, cycle, swim, hike, climb, practice yoga (Mate), pilates (Julia) and willing to take part any kind of sport. We like to be in a relaxing environment, but we do enjoy a party once in a while.
We have spent 2023 in Australia and planning to start our trip to Asia before returning to Europe. We want to explore different cultures and people, spend time where not many tourists go, and volunteering is one of the best way to do this.
Julia
Dietitian (Nutritionist) and Food Engineer.
I spent the last years studying at universities. Healthy food and lifestyle were always my interests. I also spent my summer breaks working abroad in hospitality. I love baking and making people happy around me with my homemade bakery.
Mate
Mechanical engineer, welder and rope access technician.
I lived and worked as a freelancer rope access technician in the UK for many years before pandemic. I did go for a few months of travel every year and got involved in some volunteer project around the world. In London I spent lot of my spare time volunteering, helping elderly people or at sport events. I also like reading and trying to play the guitar.

We like to cook. We both grown up in houses with big gardens, so we are familiar with gardening, cleaning, and little DIY jobs around the house.
Julia is really good at baking, and she has photography and content writing skills.
Mate over the years has worked as kitchen porter, roof carpenter, fabrication technician, design engineer, TIG welder and industrial abseiler (handyman on ropes). As an abseiler and other experiences developed skills in painting, woodwork, metal assembly, sealing etc. He has some teaching experience back from his university years.
