Description
We are a young British family looking for an opportunity to share an adventure with our young, curious children, Barnaby (8) and Mabel (6). My husband is a carpenter with his own business and I am a qualified primary teacher and Forest School Leader. Between us we have a really broad set of skills so sure we can be useful in lots of ways! Between us we can help out with practical building projects, gardening etc and childcare, language practice and teaching.
We are embarking on a lifelong dream of taking our children on an extended trip around Europe (and beyond!) in a motorhome and hoping after that to set up our own eco project back here in the UK. We would like to spend a year or so gaining skills and knowledge to self build a home on a self sustaining plot and using this this is a base for my husband's carpentry business and for me to establish a forest school.
As we will be home / world schooling our children along the way we would really like to work alongside other families to give our children the chance to socialise. we also have a friendly old Collie dog Bobby who is coming along for the ride!
We are setting from home just after Christmas and heading south through Europe to chase some warmth and sunshine, through Spain, Portugal and Morocco and then who knows!
