Hi, I’m Teniola (Teni) , a 23-year-old from London with a love for connecting with people and exploring new places. I’m motivated by the opportunity to learn and grow from different experiences, whether it’s through travel, cultural exchanges, or simply helping others.
I value creativity, kindness, and adaptability, and I enjoy working in collaborative environments. Spending my summers leading a team at a camp has taught me the importance of teamwork and leadership, and it’s always rewarding to contribute to shared goals.
What brings me happiness is forming genuine connections with others, immersing myself in different cultures, and embracing the beauty of the little things—like a great meal (I love Nigerian, Italian, and Chinese food) or discovering local music scenes. I’m passionate about languages and cultures, and I’m on an exciting journey to become a polyglot. I’m a native English speaker and currently teaching myself Spanish, reaching a B1 level. I love the process of learning and discovering how languages shape our understanding of the world. I also speak Yoruba, my parents’ native language, and I cherish the opportunity to connect with my heritage through language. For me, language is not just about communication, but about understanding different cultures, building bridges, and connecting with people from all walks of life. I am TESOL-qualified and have experience teaching English, which has helped me develop strong communication and organisational skills. I’ve also completed a software engineering apprenticeship with Vodafone, where I honed my problem-solving abilities and learned to work effectively in team-oriented environments.
Outside of the tech world, I’ve worked as a barista for three years, gaining extensive customer service experience and an appreciation for hard work and hospitality. My time as a leader at a summer camp and my passion for street dancing have given me confidence working with kids, facilitating activities, and creating fun, engaging spaces for people of all ages.
Additionally, I have a strong interest in social work and community outreach, where I’ve been involved in initiatives that promote inclusivity and positive social impact. I’m currently learning Spanish and love cultural exchange, making me excited to connect with new people and embrace different ways of life.
Whether it’s teaching, organising, working hands-on, or simply lending a helping hand, I’m adaptable, reliable, and always motivated to contribute my skills to any project.

When I’m not working or learning something new, I love to spend my time exploring my hobbies and interests. I’m an avid chess player and enjoy the challenge of strategising and improving my skills. Traveling is a big passion of mine—I’ve been fortunate enough to visit all the continents, and each journey has deepened my love for meeting new people, experiencing diverse cultures, and trying local cuisines (I’m a big foodie!).
I also have a creative side and enjoy photography and videography, capturing special moments and the beauty of everyday life. Another hobby I’m passionate about is braiding and styling hair—it’s something I love to do for myself and others. When I am in London, I am glued to my bike- it's exhilirating!
