I enjoy meeting people but find it is much easier to get to know people when we participate in work together. I am naturally curious about people, customs, ideas. I enjoy travel, but prefer to stay in one place and get to really experience the people and rhythm of the place through work and time. I am retired, in good health, a vegan, love music and art.

I have a variety of skills:
- I raised three sons, am a doting grandmother, and worked professionally with at-risk teens
- I know how to cook, clean, and keep a house in order
- I know how to talk with people, even though I am a natural introvert and need some quiet time for myself. I retired from a work that required me to meet people at both the best of times and their most difficult
- I am skilled with my hands, I have done a variety of home repairs (wiring, painting, carpentry, etc). I helped build a large addition to my former home including: rough construction, roofing, sheetrock, paint, wire, and some plumbing. I now work on special projects building things - chicken coops and storage sheds - out of repurposed materials.

I am an active card player, love board games and puzzles - all kinds, not into computer games. I have taken up Ukulele, sing in two choirs, did my first play/musidcal at 66 years old.
