Hello everyone! I’m Sofia and I’m 20 years old. I’m from Ravenna but I’m current living in Bologna as I’m attending my second year at university. I study Political Science and my plan for the future is to travel as much as possible and possibly study and work abroad, that’s why I’m very keen to apply for this experience. I’ve always travelled and have visited numerous countries in my relatively short life, and that has made me develop a passion and a curiosity for foreign cultures , in fact at school I studied languages. I’m looking forward to share the beautiful italian culture with you all while also learning more about different backgrounds and meeting new people.

I have a real passion for learning, I love studying both form books and from others experiences, along with my good grades I’ve always liked to pursue my passion for handy projects and diy, I think I am a very practical and analytical person. I love foreign languages, I’ve studied spanish, french, german and english at school, and I’m looking forward to learning new ones. I also have some work experience, particularly in the food sector as I’ve worked at a fast food spot here in Bologna and at a bar located in the Riviera during the summer. My first ever work experience, however, was as a hostess at a Fair here in Bologna, an experience that I’ve repeated thrice last year. I’m looking forward to learning new skills and I’m very open to whatever activity is required while being a workawayer.

I like to entertain myself with multiple hobbies, like drawing and painting, I love to read books which I think is an activity that broadens the mind, I have a passion for photography and video making and I always use my parents’ old cameras. I have animals at home, a dog and two cats, so I love to have pets around the house and taking care of them. I also have worked as a babysitter and at a summer camp, so I like being around children as well. I love board games and social moments during which one can share their experiences and thoughts with others, but I also cherish my alone time to relax.
