Description
I’m 23 years old and recently completed my studies in Teaching, as well as Psychology. This year, I’ve been teaching a class of 35 lively and curious seven year olds in my hometown in South Africa, which has deepened my love for working with children and strengthened my creativity and adaptability. I’m motivated by work where I can support and care for others. What brings me the most happiness is building real connections, helping children learn and grow, and being part of a warm and caring environment where I can make a positive difference.

I am very interested in both learning and teaching languages. I am fluent in English and Afrikaans, and I speak beginner Dutch and German. Afrikaans is one of South Africa’s national languages and can be useful for Dutch speakers too, as they are quite similar. I’m always open to learning new languages through conversation and cultural exchange, and I enjoy helping others improve their English or Afrikaans in a natural, friendly way.

More details about your skills
I’m a qualified teacher with degrees in Education and Psychology, which have equipped me with strong people skills, patience, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once. Teaching a class of 34 learners full time on my own has made me confident in staying organized, thinking on my feet, and creating a positive environment even in busy or unpredictable situations.
I’m a reliable and adaptable person who enjoys being helpful and involved, whether that means working with children, lending a hand with household tasks, assisting in community projects, or supporting day-to-day routines. I’m practical, quick to learn, and not afraid of hard work.
My psychology background has taught me how to communicate with empathy, work well in a team, and understand the needs of others- skills that carry over into any setting. I take pride in doing things properly, staying respectful of others’ spaces and routines, and contributing in a way that’s thoughtful and consistent.
