Hi, I am Sophie and currently I am travelling in India and other Asian countries with the intention to deepen my yoga practice, open myself up to new experiences, meet like-minded people and continue this path of exploration and learning along the way.

Some of the things I am passionate about and would love to share with you:

I have lived abroad multiple times already and the experiences have given me much joy and taught me many things.
If I would have to describe my way of travel I would say it would be called 'slow travel' since I love to not only visit places but also create a sense of home away from home, connect more deeper with the place and people around and be part of a project and help out.

I love to cook and prepare vegan meals, however I can´t say that I am a professional chef.. I am a fast learner.
In the previous workaways I have prepared meals for 40+ people as a work shift. Always learning and just creating with what we had, a really fun experience.
Working alone is no problem for me, but I love to work in groups as well and learn from eachother.
Photography is a skill I am happy to share with you. Especially of nature, animals, landscapes, an ongoing project that has to be promoted, people,...

Being outside in nature makes any job feel like a free time experience, a win win since I learn out of it too.
At many places I volunteered I have spent time in the gardens, helping with the harvesting of foods, weeding, planting... and I love these jobs, being in touch with the earth and plants, connected with all the grows for us.

During my travel in South America I have visited some projects working with bioconstruction and I fell in love with the work. The fact that there is so much to use from natural resources to build and construct really gets my interest. I am still learning along the way, but I would love to get more involved in projects like this too.
