Description
Hi, I'm Sofie! A 27 year old girl from Denmark. I recently graduated my master's degree in molecular medicine, and decided to travel for 6 months before starting my career. I am solo traveling Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia and USA. Some of my hobbies and interests are healthy foods, running and hiking, horseback riding and just relaxing with a board game or a book. I have visited around 30 countries in my life, so I have a good understanding of different cultures and languages. I do a lot of volunteer work back home in Denmark, such as volunteering in different horse breeding and horse riding clubs and producing Denmark's most popular language podcast.
I have a background as a private in the Danish military. Furthermore, I have previously worked on a ranch in Australia for 5 months where I took care of horses and dogs, cleaned the house, played with the kids etc. I consider myself a person with high work ethics and a "can do" attitude.
When visiting New Zealand, I am travelling with my partner Alex. He is 27 years old and from Bristol, England. Alex has a degree in law and is working as a police officer. He's on a year leave to travel the world and is currently working as a barista in Sydney. Alex loves the outdoors, camping and hiking and reading good books.
I am a pescetarian (I don't eat meat, but I eat fish, egg and cheese). Alex has celiac disease (eats gluten free). We both have a driver's license but we don't have a car.
