Hi there!

I am Silas, 23 years old from Berlin, Germany. I have always loved to travel and have done that since the end of Covid allowed me to. I have hitchiked through Eastern-Europe all the way to Georgia. I have lived in Istanbul for 10 months to study or went to Malawi for a film project. Now i am on the road again after finishing my studies and I sailed across the Atlantic from the Canaries to Cape Verde to the Carribean.My plan is to continue towards South America. I love to meet new people, tell and listen to stories, make music and art of any kind and understand cultural histories! I don't mind working for that.

I am a sailor, so I know a bit about motors, knots and general handyman skills. Don't expect anything too professional though, on a boat you usually fix the things as you go along.

I know basic woodworking, but want to learn more and am willing to do all kinds of physical work.

Apart from that, I studied Psychology and otherwise do journalistic projects on my own time. Here is one recent example: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_d-3Jn35qiI). I write and play the guitar. I also enjoy singing and really all kinds of music. I speak German and English on a native or near to native. I am learning French and Spanish at the moment and speak on a basic level. My Turkish used to be alright, but has suffered since I haven't lived there for a while. I also know Latin and Ancient Greek. I can teach languages and have taught German to Refugees in the past.

I cook often and with passion. I am tidy and organized.

I love all sports and have played field hockey, American football more seriously throughout my life. I have also tried different sports like Karate, Tennis etc. and am keen to try more!

I love dancing and playing games of all kinds, especially chess or strategic games. And dancingwise of course techno is preferred (Ich bin ein Berliner!), but would also enjoy learning e.g. tango or salsa...
