Hi there, my name is Sigge. I'm 24 years old and have just finished my bachelor’s degree in philosophy. The last semester I’ve spent in York as an exchange student, and now that my time here in England is running out, I don’t find that I’m ready to head home to Denmark just yet, therefore, I’ll be heading towards Ireland in July, to hopefully have a summertime adventure and do some Workaway-stays.

I’m new to Workaway but have, in the past, done some volunteering through WWOOF, which has been wonderful and led me to meet amazing people, see lovely places, and develop new skills.
I like nature and being outdoors, exploring new and old places. I’m pretty crafty and like doing all sorts of projects, but I’m particularly into green woodworking.

Besides that, I’m easy-going and chill to be around. I like to chill and craft in the company of others, but I also enjoy my own company and like to go out wandering on my own.

I’ve been volunteering on and off in a woodland for the past few years and have learned about conservation and woodland management. Sadly, I do not have a chainsaw licence.

I also know a fair bit about gardening. Growing up, we always had a garden, and the last few years I’ve been helping take care of the garden and growing veg for the community where I lived.

I’m pretty good with animals and have been taking care of cats, dogs, and chickens.

Generally, I’m always up for learning and trying new things. I work hard and I’m not afraid to get dirty.
And I have a driver's licence.
