Description

Our names are Shannesse and Jake.
We are an adventurous Australian couple who have been traveling through North America and are excited to expand our journey through Workaway. Over the past three months, we have gained valuable experience working overseas, and we are eager to bring our skills to a new environment. We both graduated from film school and share a passion for sports, staying active, and watching movies.

Experiencing the world and everything it has to offer brings us happiness. We know life is short so you have to get out and do things, meet people and learn new things and love travelling for this reason. We are thrilled to explore new countries and cultures with the help of Workaway and look forward to the next chapter of our adventure.

I'm a creative at heart and love to see the world in a different way, which is why I've worked in video and photography these past few years. Before that, I’ve gained experience in retail, hospitality, and customer service, working in different environments and with all kinds of people. My favourite thing is meeting new people, learning new skills, and seeing new places. I’m adaptable, quick to learn, and always excited for new adventures. With my strong communication, organisational skills, and a genuine passion for connecting with others, I believe I’d be a great fit for any opportunity that comes my way!

JAKE
Over the past few years, I've gained valuable skills working in creative roles, where I've learned the ropes of leadership, communication and organisation My background in film has honed my ability to problem solve in creative ways which I enjoy bringing to any situation I am in. Whether supervising teams or managing operations, I've thrived in dynamic environments, ensuring myself and my co-workers show high levels of customer service and teamwork. I am excited to showcase my skills and experience in future endeavours.

I'm Shannesse. I absolutely love traveling and exploring new places. When I'm not on the road, you can find me outdoors, enjoying nature, or inside watching movies and tv shows. I love being creative whether it's practicing my photo & video craft, or in other ways such as painting, music and art. I'm a big fan of board games, card games, and video games, and I love learning new ones. Playing sports and staying active is also a big part of my life.

Hi, i'm Jake and have a passion for creating new experiences which has led me to explore different parts of the world. I am a creative and driven person who thrives on making meaningful connections with people from diverse backgrounds, an aspect of travel that keeps me excited for what’s around the corner. Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy staying active, playing lots of sports, snowboarding, watching movies and exploring new places.
