  • Description

Hello! I’m 29 year old Savanna from the “windy city” Chicago, Illinois USA. I'm taking time off of work in 2025 to travel and see different cultures and ways of living. Workaway seemed like an amazing opportunity to meet many people living intentional lives and be a part of their dreams and projects.

I am a creative by training and worked as a designer and project manager for 6 years. I have a lot of making hands-on experience through my industrial design undergrad degree (sewing, painting, digital website building, social media, prototyping with wood and cardboard, metal shop, 3d printing, and more). I also have experience working as an orientation leader and tour group guide at my college. See more skills in the skill section of the profile!

In my free time you’ll find me biking, reading comics on the couch, planning the most efficient route to run my errands, or climbing rocks.

My strength is my love of learning and relentless curiosity. Friends and colleagues describe me as enthusiastic, thorough, open minded, and caring.

My interests in workaway are range from farming to eco projects to teaching to hospitality.
