Description
It is not easy to write a few sentences to describe who I am and what makes me tick, but I will try.
Hello, my name is Sasha!
I am originally from Colorado, USA and finished school in December of 2020. I have been traveling around the world since then.
Since I can remember, all I've ever wanted to do is travel, be outdoors, meet people, and experience new cultures. Workaway has let me create so many lovely connections around the world! I am a happy-go-lucky spirit trying to build meaningful connections and experience great adventures.
I love being outside and in nature, you can often find me kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, climbing mountains, or surfing. I really love meeting friends and nights out but I also value my personal time. I love reading and painting in my spare time.
I am learning to be a very spiritual person and I am finding out what I want out of this beautiful life. I sometimes struggle to be in the present moment and I seek fulfilling work that allows me to focus and be present. I would enjoy a host who is also interested in this or can teach me more about it, but it is not required.
Currently, I am seeking higher education in sustainable food systems. My specific focus for my program and future career would focus on helping small-scale farmers become more sustainable and contribute to a more sustainable food system. I would really enjoy a host is able to offer me experiences surrounding sustainable agriculture and permaculture or has an interest in it at the least! I am willing to teach what I have learned and learn what I have not.
I have no plan for my travels, and work off of the opportunities that arise to me. If you are in need of a Workawayer, please feel free to message me!Interests

I cannot thank you enough for accepting us to stay a few weeks at the farm. We've done many Workaways before and weren't sure how it was going to be, but I can say that we were welcomed like family. The first thing that Captain said when picking us up was "You are not my volunteers,… read more
