Hey, my name is Shantel and I am 21 years old currently living in Brisbane, Australia. I recently graduated from university with a degree in Criminal Justice. I am on a gap year trying to travel as much as possible and to push myself out of my comfort zone to try new experiences.

I am pretty easy going, open minded and adaptable to any situation so I believe I can truly get the most out of every experience or interaction. I am pretty outgoing and bubbly so I hope I can bring joy to those around me.

I really love the ocean and the beach. I also adore being outside in nature, enjoying the fresh smell of flowers and the warmth of the sun.

I am pretty new to Workaway but I already have experience solo travelling and I love it!! I am hoping to continue to try new things and meet a range of people from different walks of life :)

Work experience: I have heaps of customer service and volunteering experience working in Retail and Hospitality so I have no trouble interacting with new people.

I have also done social media assistance during my time in university so I am pretty up to date with the latest technology and trends. I would also like to gain more experience and gain more skills in social media planning also marketing.
