My wife, Veronica and I, Mark, own and successfully operate a Resort which is an off-shore private island eco-resort on the island in Vava'u, Kingdom of Tonga in the South Pacific. We happily live on our island with our two dogs, Honio and Rocky. I am a boat designer and sea captain and my wife Veronica has many years of experience in the hospitality industry. We have had our resort for the past 13 years which consists of 8 traditionally built "Fales" (Tongan word for house or bungalow). At the moment we are a seasonal business that specializes in “whale swim tours” from 15th of July to the 15th of October of each year. We also offer other activities such as kayaks and snorkeling and recreational diving.
We are currently working on upgrading our resort to be an "All Year Around" resort by offering other water activities such as SUP's, sailing etc. We average about 12 to 16 guests during our “On-season”. We are focused on personalized service, sustainability and we love and respect nature. We love Tonga and are working hard to introduce this beautiful island kingdom destination to people that are focused on culture, sustainability and nature.

Our resort has a number of projects in the off season consisting of; finishing a boat building project; also we are looking for a carpenter As Soon As Possible to help us with our "Fale Project" (Fale: Tongan word for house or bungalow) during our off-season (November and December). This project entails wood work to enhance the look of our fales.
Other jobs in the island include gardening, yard work and small jobs around the fales, with common cleaning and housekeeping being a big part of maintaining our resort tidy during the off season.
We ask you to cook and clean after yourself.
People with boat piloting experience and ability are desired.
