My name is Sára Szalka, I’m 26 years old. I graduated as a painter and currently, in addition to working in my studio, I also lead art sessions for groups of children. I live in Budapest, but I’d like to spend more time close to nature. Community is important to me—besides creating art, nurturing meaningful human connections is what I find most fulfilling. I also have a scruffy 3-year-old dog named Matyi.

I have a lot of experience with children—I enjoy looking after them, and I’m also happy to lead creative activities for them. In addition to that, I have experience in construction and renovation. I previously followed the entire process of building a lightweight structure house, from laying the concrete foundation to the interior finishing work. I occasionally work as a helper painting walls, and I’ve also done decorative wallpainting. I also enjoy taking care of animals, as I live with a friendly dog myself.
