Had my first Workaway experience in Toronto and I’m currently staying home.

  • Description

    Hi there!

I’m currently on vacation in Toronto, CAN and I’m planning to start my Workaway experience from April 30th-July 30th.

    Right now I’m staying home.

I got what it feels like to live in Canada as a local. Got hands-on with DIY projects and gardening work. When I reactivate my traveling I’d love opportunities to teach a language, exchange skills, or even just connect over shared interests like math, AI, or salsa dancing.

In terms of helping out, I’m reliable and happy to contribute with cleaning, organizing, packing, and general day-to-day tasks. I take pride in being hardworking and respectful in shared spaces.

I’m someone who’s outgoing, curious, and independent and enjoy a balance between a slow-paced environment and social one — I’m addicted to long and meaningful conversations, please tell me your goals, jokes and what moves you or makes you wake up excited every day. Love a deep convo!

I’ve traveled to countries in Europe and Americas and I always take the time to learn about their culture, history and (especially) food. That curiosity is a big part of why I’m here — I want to connect, learn, and be part of something local and genuine.

    Physically active
    Non smoker

Looking forward to meeting great people and sharing meaningful experiences! :)

When it comes to solving problems I consider myself to be very resourceful. I learned this from my dad who would ask me to help assemble furniture, put up a shelf or install a fridge; sometimes we would run into unexpected issues like realizing we needed a special tool or missing a screw. He would come up with ideas like using two tools to make up for the one we needed; or sometimes using screws from the old fridge. All these experiences helped me have an open mind and not focus on the problem for a long time, but rather in: how can I solve this?

I have been involved in painting my room (which is harder than it looks), packing when moving to another house, including the logistics of: loading boxes, fridges, washing machines, furniture, etc. (including of course how to take care of it).

In the kitchen I am a great assistant and can take the lead if needed; I consider my dishes to be varied and have had good feedback from family and friends. So I can manage my way through a simple but tasteful sandwich to a smoked salmon.

I love learning and talking about business, tech and finance so do reach out if you want to exchange ideas about investing, economics, AI agents, AI automation, etc. However, my geek side is well compensated by my passion for salsa dancing!
