Description
I am an easy going person that is happy doing any tasks and am very keen to learn new skills. I have grown up in a household with a smallholding in Scotland including sheep, hens, and bees were we also welcome workawayers. I am happy meeting new people and learning about different cultures.
I am very excited to travel around Australia and New Zealand in my gap year before going to university to study anthropology in September 2026.

Having grown up on a smallholding I have looked after sheep and hens and recently completed a sheep shearing course. I am used to working outside collecting, chopping and stacking kindling and wood, working in my mothers vegetable garden and generally helping out wherever is required. I am a very organised, practical and reliable person. I have a full manual driving license.

I am a musical person and play the cello. I enjoy playing backgammon and other board games, card games and puzzles. I like to swim and have a lifeguarding qualification. I also do pottery and enjoy arty projects.

I had an amazing time staying with Mike for two weeks. Mike is not only welcoming, kind and understanding but incredibly knowledgeable! I have learnt so much from working on his garden project. I especially enjoyed planting all kinds of different native trees.

I had a great time staying with Larissa and Hamish on their farm! They are very kind and generous people. I enjoyed learning about life on a farm and it was very exciting to be allowed to help and observe with sheep gathering/ cow hearding.
