Description
My name is Sandy, I’m 32 years old and from Denmark. I’m an educated social worker and content creator, and in 2026 I’m traveling full-time, starting my journey in Cape Town.
I have a strong interest in people, local communities, tourism and hospitality. Through Workaway, I’m looking for meaningful experiences where I can contribute, learn, and be part of everyday life rather than just passing through as a tourist.
Professionally, I’m used to working with people, structure, responsibility and communication. I’m reliable, calm, respectful and comfortable in new environments. I enjoy helping where needed – whether that’s supporting community projects, schools, guesthouses, lodges or tourism-related work.
Alongside my travels, I also work with content creation and social media, and I occasionally organize group trips. I’m always respectful of local cultures and expectations, and I see Workaway as a cultural exchange rather than just “free accommodation”.

I'm 32 years old with a PBA in Social work and 9 years of experience in the field. I have alot of experience working with communication and coordinating. I have two passions: Helping & traveling. These two pasions I want to combine on my upcoming year of traveling hoping to gain experience with hospitality and tourism aswell.
