Hello hosts and fellow workawayers! My name is Sam and I'm from Chicago, Illinois, USA. In my free time you'll catch me playing the ukulele (or any musical instrument I can get me hands on), listening to Jim Croce, or going on a thoughtful walk in the woods. Things that motivate me and bring me happiness are good food and good company. Everyone has a story to share, and that is why I travel. I want to hear about your stories and I want to share mine. I am very fluent in hospitality, working in the front of house of restaurants (serving, hosting, bartending) most of my adult life. I have also been a zipline guide the last 2 summers as well. I have basic gardening experience learned from my father back at home. I have experience working in a brewery and also at a summer camp for children aged 7-12.
