Hello, My name is Sam. I am 23 and graduated with my Special Education degree. I am looking to explore and create global connections. I LOVE the outdoors, being an Eagle Scout and avid hiker/camper/backpacker. I spend my free time outside exploring local trails, fixing furniture that I find in the trash or thrift shops (I like to reuse and upcycle as much as possible), watercolor painting, and enjoying "old-school" music.

I see Workaway as a wonderful opportunity to not only see the world, but also meet people! Being an educator, working with people is something that I enjoy. Exchanging stories, going on adventures, etc.

I want to take this space to share my catchphrase: "Don't Be Bashful." While simple, I find that it encompasses my desires to try new things even if uncomfortable and embrace the cultures and traditions of future friends.
