Hello! We're a couple currently traveling around South America, 28 and 26 years old. It's always been a dream of ours to travel together, but we want to make it meaningful. We're both very passionate about environmentalism, ecology, and learning how different cultures interact with the world. Both of us are keen to deepen our understanding of nature and how to live in harmony with the environment.
We have some farm work experience in Peru (via WWOOF) and really loved spending time in nature, working with a purpose, coming up with creative solutions, and socializing with others! We're very happy learning new skills and trying totally new approaches. We are two very relaxed people, love making new friends, and finding adventures in new places. Sam is from the US and Ruby is from England, but we have lived in Prague for years. We look forward to meeting you and having new experiences.

Both of us are former English teachers, qualified with a TEFL. We taught children and adults in the Czech Republic, working in language schools and as private tutors. We are both beginners in Spanish and are very happy to find experiences to improve and learn more.

Sam has plenty of experience in agriculture and ecology. During university, he was an active participant in the school's vegetable garden and apiary where he was a beekeeper. For his final project he organized and participated in the ecological restoration of a plot of land in a public park near Seattle. He also has some experience in woodworking and is hoping to learn more about it.
Ruby is a former English teacher and writer, with plenty of experience teaching both children and adults. She also worked as a content writer and journalist, recently writing for a Czech news site on culture, arts and music. In her spare time, she appreciates lots of artistic ventures like knitting, tufting, and painting.
We both worked on a farm in Peru in November of 2023. We had an amazing time living in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, collaborating with a big team of volunteers. We worked on many projects, including reforestation, taking care of the tree nursery, maintaining the huge garden and constructing a soon-to-be hostel. We are quick learners who love dipping our toes into new skills and helping in any way we can.

What else ...
Both of us love listening to and playing music. Sam plays the bass and electric guitar, and Ruby is an eternal beginner on the keyboard.
We love card games and recently learned how to play cambio, we're very excited to teach others as we can spend hours playing it!
Ruby loves wild swimming, so any outdoor swim spots you can recommend would be much appreciated! We're both very outdoorsy and would love to explore nature with you.
