Ciao I'm Saara, a Finnish high school graduate who's spending the autumn traveling.

I have always had pretty balanced lifestyle. Apparently I was the ”academic weapon” in school but I also enjoy sports, practical work and having fun in good company. However, I feel like I have to break my well-organized lifestyle a little bit and experience not always knowing what's next.

That's why I decided to take a gap year and travel. I like exploring the Finnish nature - in summertime by my family's sailboat and in wintertime by skis - and now I would like to explore a new country and meet new people.

I have worked as a waitress and as a substitute teacher (schools and kindergartens), on a construction site, in a cafe and in an animal shelter.
