Hello :-)
We are Riley Scout (or Rye for short!) and Samuel, two people with a shared spirit for adventure, a deep love for the natural world, and a desire to experience and learn everything we can in our short time on this lovely earth.
Samuel was born in South Africa but raised internationally, and has grown up all over the world. He is a lifelong nomad, whose volunteer work experience has ranged from sea rescue in Stilbaai to community outreach Nepal. He is intensely curious about all maths and sciences but especially theoretical technologies. He is a passionate artist, he loves EDM music, surfing and community sports. He's also quite handy and has experience in basic carpentry, house-painting and repair, car mechanics and computer science. He's dedicated to lifelong learning and is always eager to pick up new skills.
Rye is a Canadian/American art student who grew up in New York City. She worked as a cook throughout high school to fund her first backpacking trip at eighteen, and fell in love with travel. Soon after she moved to Nova Scotia to pursue studies in metal-smithing, oil painting, ceramics and textile work before returning to Europe. One of her favorite parts of travel is learning about other people, hearing about their stories and their lives. She is also an avid reader, loves rock blues and dancing, and she is still a very good cook :-)
We both adore children and animals, and we move with love, peace and goodwill.Interests

Samuel: I'm a jack of all trades, having done: general house repair and maintenance, sports coaching, hospitality industry work, public outreach and food projects, cleaning/housekeeping, emergency response volunteer work, basic IT/programming/computer setup, gardening, and arts and crafts along with many other odd jobs and small projects. I love learning and getting to know how different people and cultures practice their trades! Whether it's working with people, events, nature, tools, pets, or plants I'm excited to apply what I know and learn from those I'm working with :)
Rye: I have some experience with welding, blacksmithing, and working with steel as an art medium. I've studied ceramics and relief carving with stone and plaster, dabbled in basic carpentry too, although this is something I'd love more hands on practice with! Additionally I have several years of experience as a cook in a vegan/gluten free restaurant, as well as experiencing cooking in non-vegan restaurants of varying cuisines. Further, I've got many years of looking after children, animals and plants under my belt. I'm passionate about taking care of this planet and all us creatures on it taking care of each other.Age
