Hey and thanks for checking out my profile!
I recently quit my teaching job in the UK to move over to Australia in search of a better work-life balance and to embrace the excessive UV levels...
I am looking to immerse myself in the Aussie lifestyle (as opposed to sticking within the expat areas) and would love to spend time meeting people in the local community. I am a sociable person who enjoys being active so would love to find a Workaway experience which keeps my busy and where I can engage with people from different backgrounds.Interests

- Working as a tour guide in Croatia, taking groups of up to 30 people on a week long tour of the Adriatic islands and catering to all of their needs and requirements.
- I worked for 7 years as a secondary school teacher in the UK, working with children between the ages of 11 and 18. My school was in the middle of a large city and had an incredibly diverse intake of pupils.
- Working as a ski rep across the ski resorts in Europe, acting as the point of contact for large groups of university students and providing assistance in case of emergencies or general queries.Age

Pierce, Christina and the whole family were so welcoming. All of the kids could not have been more friendly and were always keen to engage in conversation and help with random tasks around the property. There was so much love and kindness - it was an absolute joy to be a part… read more
They were incredibly welcoming and couldn't be more helpful in suggesting things to see or unique cultural experiences around Hobart.
